Hi, I am new on this site, and i dont know very much about freediving. Im interested in learning to hold my breath for a longer time. How shall I start training, please explain or dont use hard words? I really dont know very much abuot this topic..

I have read the word static in here, can someone explain me what it means?

As you understand- im a beginner

A warm welcome Lano.

A static is a breath hold on static conditions... you seek a comfortable position and mental and physical state of relaxation. They are many techniques to improve your marks, and you will find them on the beginners section. By opposition a dynamic is an apnea hold during a dynamic exercise... normally diving/swimming.

Using the search function is the must interesting way to find data: most of your questions may have been already answer on past threads. You will found as well a glossary with all the freedive terms to help you.
