Hi guys

Just got back from an awesome holiday in NZ around Wellington where I got pretty into the freediving and spearfishing scene (Paua and Kina mainly :D), was planning to go for a dive somewhere along the south coast with a few mates of mine, preferably between Sussex and Dorset so its not too much of a drive and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good spots to get crab/scallops/mussels?

Thanks

Hi There,

Don't be offended if no one gives you their best spots when you come fresh on the forum. Someone may be kind enough to give you a heads up through a PM.
Crabs, just look for hard weedy ground with tide moving through. Scallops will be deeper in muddy/sandy areas and mussels tend to be nearer fresh water. Good luck

Cheers for the advice, and thats understandable. Was just looking for a general guide as to where might worth a look really. We're thinking of giving the beach at West Wittering a go, so will let you know how it goes.
