Is any beach access left in here for spearos without being harrased by cops?
Fort Lauderdale, West Palm, Boca area?

when I say "my" I mean the one they let me fly :p don't have the coin for one of them :)

Hiya pilot,

Hit Dania beach in Hollywood, about 3-5 hundred yards from the beach is where the reef starts, never a problem with lifeguards or police

This is my last resort...
Getting bored same place all the time... even sometimes it rewards me with dinner...
I was looking for some ledges where I can patrol for potential cobia passing...
Want to test out my new boogie board...

Thanks anyway!

didn't know you had a yak, you can easily paddle out from haulover to about 41 st (N-S) out about 1 mile first minor reef line which has an abundance of sealife, PM me if you want to go out on a weekday, the reef line at Dania is the same just it angles in more

Can't on a weekday... weekends are mine, Yak is still on garage's wall, but truck is sold...
Civic need a roof rack or foam pads for kayak... bodyboard is my only option for now.
What do you mean "41 st (N-S)"?
Thanks.

Try atlantic blvd in pompano. Just start south of the lifeguard towers and head out about 500 yards. Vis sometimes is poor on the way out, but it usually clears up when you hit the dropoff. Depth is about 25-30 feet. Never seen any cobia there, but I usually come home with a hog, snapper, lobster, or mackeral bare minimum. At least it is dinner for me and the wife.

Haulover to collins and 41 street (Foutainbleau Hotel) reef runs North South quite a ways if your kicking, seguyettes suggestion is also good (part of the Dania Bch reef which is all part of the primary reef system along the east coast, secondary about 1/2- 1 mile further out and tertiary about 3- or so thats how it was simplistically explained to me). Unfortunately the area around, dania is a bit burnt out, but always something comes out...if you find a sofa thrown out grab the foam, quick resolution for the Yak/Civic crisis

Thanks, guys!
I used to go of Commercial in a past, Atlantic is a good idea - remember shooting large gag there on scuba two winters ago, just N from inlet...
Hope that viz will get better in a week or so.
Anyone want to join me - welcome.
Best regards.
Mikhail.

I might be able to make it down during thanksgiving...I'm about a 5-6hr drive away? Not sure yet, but it's a possibility. Got a spearo buddy in Key Largo with a house in Miami. He might drive up too. Possible boat access...

careful with boat traffic on wkends around the bch and inlets...carry a flag/bouy and still then keep an eye out
