I like your style. Hand shakes, tattos, our own turf. the occasional clash with rival divers and tourists. We could even take over a local bar. I currently have a sickness called utahn in my viens, but will be a floridian in a few months. keep me posted
I'm only an hour away so I would be interested in meeting everyone and diving a few times. We can all network together and bring something to the table, whether it be advanced freediving knowlegde, freediving gear at discounts (my contribution), or free interpretations of last nights dreams (lehmann108's contribution 
).

There is a new freedive / spearfish club. Meets 2nd Thursday of the month at Scotty's in Coconut Grove at 6:30pm. The next meeting is Thursday August 9th. Follow the Miami Freedivers thread or just show up!
Sounds Cool. I'm new to the sport, hopefully I'll get better with practice. I live in Palm Beach so is not that far of a drive, plus most of the times I'm at Boca or FLL... So hit me up, when ever you guys will get out there. I'll love to come along.

17th and Las Olas area or 17th and Collins Miami Beach? Most of the South Florida Freedivers head out of Miami - Matheson Hammocks. Though some head out of Ft. Lauderdale/Dania/Port Everglades. I understand that there are clubs that head out of Dania/Port Everglades often; Extreme Divers, Longfins and Miami Freedivers.
I am from Massachusetts and am looking to find someone to dive with in South Florida between Jan 22ns and Jan 27th. It sounds like I will need a little luck with the weather, but if it is cooperative (knock on wood) I would love a little local insight or company. Thanks.
