So its all coming together and I will be in south florida in a few months. My question is how far out do you have to go to hit good diving? Are you committed to having a boat? Will a kayak do? Any other suggestions for a soon to be floridian would be great. thanks

Hi Johnny,

Do a Goggle search for Palm Beach freediving, look back through the threads in the buddy section, that will turn up some of the same info. Use the search function. Without a boat, there is some, limited good diving near shore all around Florida, a kayak in the Palm Beach area can work for fairly deep diving.

The best bet is find a buddy with a boat.
