or
Ausschreibung (in german)

cheers,
Christophe

Very interesting. Is it possible to simplify registration process to avoid printing/scanning/faxing?

Hi Osusim,
As for now i'm sorry there is no other possibility to registrate, but if it takes some time for you to send the registration form send an e-mail to the organizer so that he is aware of your intention to participate.

Christophe

Generally, before AIDA's own registration system is put online, I recommend organizers to use Freedive Central registration system It is easy to use, and competitors can register with a single click without the need to enter their personal data each time. It also the simplifies the import of the results into the ranking database (assuming you do enter the results into the FC system).

It seems simple enough, you can email the PDF.

Christophe, you wrote There is still room for competitors. I and others from the Munich area want to come, but we are waiting as it's still a bit early. Do you mean we should hurry with registration?

I don't know the exact numbers, but there is nothing to worry about. Deadline for registration and payment is the 15.05.2010

As for the PDF document, you can't really e-mail it. You have to print it out, succesfully filling in your informations and then scan it so that you can send it to the organizers. Might as well send it per Fax or the old school way per postal services. I reckon it is not the most simplest way but still manageable for the most of us

Nice evening,
Christophe

Hi Christophe, ok no hurry then.
About PDF, it is perfectly possible to edit it and send it electronically, for the sake of trees

Well, that is all about a signature under declaimer of liability. Most organizers are satisfied by receiving a real signature during registration just before a competition.
IMHO making signature on a computer and paste picture to the a document makes one looks like real but still fake.

Guys I think we are splitting hairs here.
In all competitions where I have been, the disclaimer is signed on the date of the competition. All that an organizer needs to know is your data, AP, and that you paid the money.
