Ok, when it gets warmer, does anyone want to join me in freediving around southern ontario? The only stop i know in ontario so far is Tobermory, more specifically The Grotto. I still love to dive this because its a classic spot. If your interested PM me.

Also, if you have done The Grotto, what's your experience with it? The system consists of three tunnels but only two are known. There is the wide obvious one that I have done more times than I remember, another one to the right of the main tunnel that makes a turn. Ive also does this but while swimming through I noticed a 3rd one that connects the 2. I havent tried this one because I was already done for the day and didnt want to get stuck. any thoughts?

Hey Scoles

When were you planning on going?

Ah alrite. I will see where I am in that time. Are you set on that trip? Because I believe there is a big meet in B.C around that time.

im not set because i usually end up going in august anyway. i would like to go to a freediving meet, but something thats not so far away

there is excellent diving to be had in the st. clair river from corruna to Sarnia. Mc Donald Park near wallaceburg is good too.

The grotto is a pretty nice place to freedive. I have swum two of the tunnels but didn't know that there was a third?

there is a 3rd i am sure of it. i was lucky because the sun was out and really strong, so i could see light coming through while i was swimming back through the second tunnel. its very small compared to the other tunnels, enough to swim through without touching the walls. ill see if i can get a picture for when i go back this year. basically its the last challenge i have left at the grotto.

I agree, the grotto is a fantastic place. i also had some fun jumping the cliffs....even the highest one at the grotto:t . people told me it was about 75-85 feet
