Still missing 'em... here's to Colin and Alison, and their friends and family.

I've never believed in the rotten old saw that "only the good die young" but in their case it has merit. Wait for us, Alison and Colin, we're coming, too.

In memory of Alison and Colin,............

I died from minerality and became vegetable;
And from vegatativeness I died and became animal,
I died from animality and became man.
Why, then, fear disappearance through death?
Next time I shall die
Bringing forth wings and feathers like angels;
After that, soaring higher than angels --
What you can not imagine,
I shall be that.

Rest in peace you guys,........

A toast. "They have sadly departed the mortal world but they live on in the hearts of their family and friends." Cheers.

Sure miss Alison's contributions. It's good to go back & look at the old threads ... sometimes I stumble upon one of Alison's posts that I have not seen before & her character shines through. At such times, it is hard to believe she isn't up there somewhere in North Wales tapping away & keeping an eye on us all...perhaps she is.

I must say, Mr. X hit the bullseye. That is exactly how I feel when I see one of her posts to me.

"Here's to Alison and Colin, Cheers!"

Dear Alison and Colin

I can only imagine that you started celebrating on Friday night and are still going on til Monday rofl rofl

The thing that I will missing is your PM on Monday titled "Sore Head" - god i miss you woman :)

Colin and Alison, here's to you, wherever you are! :friday

The least I know is that you are very much in the hearts of all those you've touched, in physical time/space or at a distance, through the pages of this community.

...and a word for the living:
None of us here can really understand death, not until our time comes - but all know how hard it is to be left behind by those who go. I embrace each one of you, and feel a great pride to be part of this community, that knows so well to teach and educate its young, share in joys and sorrows and remember its dead with such feeling and dignity.
I love you all,
Ofer

I would like to point out in case anybody takes this as an inference as to the cause of the accident that this is not the case, neither had consumed alcohol, nor was any found in their blood.
A driver of another vehicle is due to appear in court answering to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

Indeed I had no such intention and I know it wasn't their fault, I'll edit my post, I just received your message since I had not entered the forum for a few days due to the fact that my grandfather passed away on saturday!
