Hello all,
Been reading up a lot on spear fishing via this forum. I've been at it for a few months now using the Hawaiian sling method (pole). I just purchased a Cressi Geronimo elite 115cm gun and am trying to find good places around Oahu to use it. Using the sling method, it seems that it is not as area specific and can adapt to most environments (calm, murky, high swells, etc...). Does anyone know of some good places around the island that a beginner/intermediate spearo should go? I've been hitting up kiaena point and pretty much all along the north shore. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Northshore is good in the summertime. Try Ali'i beach. There were a lot of fish when we went a few weeks ago. Let me know how it goes!
