I have a 3 pronged tip for my spear, altho for fishing i dont feel its the best as it only has little barbs, if i get a fish and it strugalls i fear it might come out and i'll lose the fish.what other tips are better than that i have already got.

thanks a lot mates

helo.its a cressi.just the small one as im a beginer.
it can be fitted with other tips.im just wondering wich one would be better than the 3 pronged tip.you look at it and its like can you trust it, if you know what i mean.

thanks

if you are hunting mainly in holes a 50 cm gun with multiprongs might be the ideal thing to use. This however is not a versatil gun and it is intented for a very specialised kind of spearing and thus it is usually performed at a more advanced level. If you are a beginer, it might be more appropriate to get a 75 to 90 gun with a single barb. Or you might want to consider getting a just a new spear for that gun...
