Spearfishing around plymouth

Hi can anyone help what winds are best for areas around Plymouth or even better what winds to avoid as I've just started and don't wanna drive somewhere for the vis to be s..t or if there is a site I could check it on? Would be really helpful if someone could help many thanks Matt :):)

Hi Matty
Any wind coming from the North East is normally good. SW/SE winds tend to mess up the Sound a fair bit.
