Spearfishing Class: Where to go?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hi,

I am German and would love to visit the US and combine the trip with Spearfishing. This would be the first time in the US and the first time to spear.

How ever I am a fairly experienced freediver but without any clue about fish and guns :D
I am looking for a class that takes 5 to 10 days?

Any advice would be great?

Where in the US are you headed? Some schools offer classes that specifically address spearfishing. PFI is a good program, but there are others as well.
