Hi , i am going to Deltebre on holiday
Is it allowed to spearfish over there , and does someone now a good spot to spearfish ?
thanks johan

I don't know if it is allowed, that depends on if there are marine sanctuaries/parks. I do know however that you need a license to spearfish in Spain. It is a special license and you need to provide a medical certificate, translated in Spanish, to get one. You can't use normal fishing licenses. The best thing to do IMO is find out in advance the procedure. Each region has its own license, some regions accept licenses from other regions and others don't, best not try. Some regions have internet forms and others don't. I try to contact the region's govermental office that manages fishing to inquire about the process/possibilities or ask locals in a local forum.

Good luck, keep us posted on how it went.
