Spearfishing Dubai

Hi Everyone,

I'm a spearo from South Africa's Zululand Coast. I'm moving to Dubai for work in September on a permanent basis....

So I have a few questions:

1. Can I bring spearguns into Dubai (flying Emirates). They will obviously be nicely wrapped in a bag. But have anyone had any issues going through the airport with guns? Don't want them to get confiscated, will rather make another plan..

2. Are there any spearfishing clubs in Dubai? UAE?

3. Any Freediving clubs anyone can recommend?

I will need to get a car first but after that I'm quite willing to travel to where the diving is good and the fish are plentyful. So any suggestions will be helpful.
