Hello people

It has been a while since I wrote something on this forum butt I have a question. I am thinking of buying a couple of dvd's for my collection and may be there are some people whom have these dvd's and can tell me if it is worth the money???
1. pesca nel lazio (omersub)
2. AGGUATO PROFONDO II - La Vendetta (giorgio dapiran)
3. L'aspetto dinamico al dentice (Prima Parte)
4. L'aspetto dinamico al dentice (Seconda Parte)
5. L'orata dalla superfice
numbers 2 until 5 are all from giorgio dapiran, I have agguato profundo I and spigole and cefali from him and they are verry good.

I hope some people can help me because they are not cheap.. I have about 25 dvd's about spearfishing (many of them are greek, but also the totemsub ones).

ciao

I have seen most of Giorgio Dapirans films and they are all top class. You can't go wrong with this guy's films; a consumate professional

Hi Notis,

25 dvds WOW, have you got an Abellan though ???

good selection, but you are missing one Master "Victor Abellan" of Spain. check out www.abellansub.com before you spend your money. AWESOME DVD. You will learn from this DVD.

both his DVDs are translated into English too. there is a clip of his new one somewhere, i will try and post it soon.

i have the Dentice series ( VHS) of Giorgio dapiran, if you speak Italian they will help tremendously, i also have Agguato profundo 1 and 2 these are an absolute must, you have to have them.

what kind of spearfishing are you doing and where ???

have fun and
get your credit card out rofl rofl rofl

Hi

Thanxx for the replies, i was afraid that I would get possitive answer.. Now I must buy them € 30,- each OOOUUCH that hurts. I live in Holland and spearfishing is not legal here, so I manly travel a lot to Greece, spain, italy and France. I often go to boulogne sur mer, it is not the best place butt it is a 4 hour drive from Rotterdam. I love spearfishing in greece and Sardinia. I am greek myself butt unfortunatly live in holland.
By the way if we can work something out for trading dvd's let me know. My mail adres is apnea6@hotmail.com....

Thanx hope to hear from you.

Is it possible to rent spearo DVDs (maybe from one of the online services, e.g. Amazon) from local spearo stores (e.g. my local cycle store used to rent out Tour De France videos) or from the library? I would love to see some of them but have no need to own them and have no plans/funds for a collection. Saw a little of a French one in Portland recently, pretty cool. Would like to see the new Rob Allen ones. [I guess I can't see much value in DVDs as I have had a few damaged ones & they tend to give them away movie DVDs free in newspapers & magazines here].

Hi mr X

Unfortunatly I have never seen a site where you can rent spearo dvd's or video. Hear in Holland I really do not have to look for this because the simply do not have this because there is no market for.
The reason I watch spearfising dvd's (i like to watch them anyway) is that you can learn a lot by looking a other people and listening to their way of stalking. It is kind of like replieing on an internet forum. The difference is they do al the talking and you watch and listen.

If I do find a site where there is a possibility to rent spearo dvd's I will post it, butt I do not think there is one.

ciao

Hi Notis,

Have you tried the DVDs from this website:

underwaterXperts - ??????

Those guys are good. I checked the Dentex DVD...awesome. If you speak greek then u r very lucky to understand what they talk about.
I wish i can get it translated.

cheers
