Looking for some tips please.
I live in Edinburgh and want to start spearfishing.
Ive done a faire bit of shore fishing in the East Lothian area so know some fishy spots. Yesterday I went for a bit of a recky around about North Berick (Canty Beach) to see if I could see any fish but was unsuccessful.
The bottom was rocky/kelpy and I was diving to a maximum of 6 meters. Visability was pretty good. Do I need to go deeper than this? Or was I just not in the right spot / unlucky. I guess Pollock will be the main target species around here and that they wont be hiding in the kelp?
I know theres Lobsters around here and curious how to catch those as well. Ive heard of people using a hook to pull them out from the rocks?
