I guess the water is around 78F this time of year. Not sure about thermoclines and all that. Has anyone dove there? can you advise what type of suit I should bring? Spots to spearfish? Thanks!

Ive never spearfished there but I went there before I was into spearfishing and snorkled there. The water was clear and warm but the spot I was at had a good amount of biting seafleas. It was bearable though. I only went to one reef but I forget what it was called. Really nice place though try and go inland to see the rice teraces. Beatiful. Have fun man. Ill try to remember the place I dove at.

It would depend on your body type and tolerance, but you can spearfish there without a wetsuit. I was doing 2 hour freediving sessions there last year with no suit and no problems. You might want to wear something for the sun though: it's toasty and you'll burn otherwise.
Have fun!
