Hi, i'm new on spearfishing, is anybody ever tryed spearfishing in aberdeen area or anywhere east scotland?

St Andrews area and near Arbroth (sorry no map at hand for spelling, but the home of smoked fish) can throw up some great visability in the water; or so I'm lead to believe, just a shame the weather has been really awful when I've been up that way.

I do a lot of fishing in that area, once sea is calm for some time water is like a glass, going to start spearfishing there this years. By the way its Arbroath :)

I'm based up in Aberdeen but looking for a spearo buddy this summer. i've got a small dinghy with outboard so if you fancy chumming up for a few spearo dives, give me a shout - best bet is email robincampbell81 at hotmail.com - i'm keen to get in the water as often as possible this year! I've been out in newtonhill and catterline, but not ventured as far south as inverbervie - can easy make a trip of it if it's decent. should be good viz this weekend hopefully.
cheers
Robin
