What's up fellow spearos

I'm going to be in Phuket mid April 2023.

Been told it's not legal to go to the beach with a speargun in phuket, and I've also been told the opposite...

Anyway I will be only taking my mask, but I need to know if I can rent the other equipment there, anyone know a place where they offer this service?

Moreover, anyone know any good fishing spots on the shore for spearfishing? Or some good boat hire services around Phucket?

Many thanks!

You can try to rent here on Phuket and ask about the shore for spearfishing/

Head down to Rawai beach, south part of the Island. Ask around the longtail boat captains. They will take you out and some will have guns to rent too.
