That is some serious stability! Very impressive (y) There is a company in the UK called Riber that does a diving specific kayak but its aimed towards Scuba, it has some interesting features, its definitely worth a look. Having had a few kayaks, the quality of Wilderness from what I have personally seen has won me over, I have taken my tarpon 100 across the local stretch of open water, called the Solent in less than ideal conditions with fair chop, a very busy shipping lane, swell and wind over tide with few issues! A slow swell once made me start to feel dizzy so just picked one spot on the shore to look at and away I went. If my baby tarpon can handle the water it does then this boat must be a sure winner!

Anychance of a link to that? Most of the companies will build an item designed by 'you' if there is enough demand for it.

I always liked the 'see through' kayaks. Thought that they would be awesome on the water when trying to scout a spot. Not practical for much more than tourists or wildlife spotters after having some hands on time with them. Well, that is, unless you are in the tropics where the clarity is top to bottom wherever you are. Otherwise a nice bottom machine in a yak is the way to go.

EDIT- Found it. - Research started...
