spearfishing law Lanzarote, Canary Islands

Can anybody tell me something more about the spearfishing laws in Lanzarote?
I'm going there mid november for a week and I read somewhere that it's illegal over there???

I'm also looking for a spearfishing/freediving buddy. I'm staying in Playa Blanca so contact me if you wanna help me out
