went spearfishing today. we tried to find wahoo all morning at the end of the bar, then went in to cosgrove shoal area in front of marquesas keys. the current was ripping all day but the water was crystal clear. we killed alot of fish. i took pics of some of them while we were gutting them. i got pics of most of the bigger ones. there was a bunch more hogs and one more big mutton plus a nice yellowtail snapper. the rest are all in the pics.the kill list was: 1 yellowtail around 16" 1 nice red around 27", 2 or 3 blacks from 25" to 31" 4 muttons,(2 were nice around 29") 2 were decent at 19 and 20 approx. 1 yellowjack at 37" like 15 hogfish, all were decent none were huge,(nice males all) one white margate and one black margate,(junk fish, dont ask)i think that was about it. we went on a 34' yellowtail that is like 2 months old. it has twin 300 hp suzuki four strokeV8's!! this thing has upper controls, ridiculous electronics. it costs 180,000$ it belongs to my friends dad. he is sponsored by yellowfin and gets a new boat every two years. he gets new motors every year..........must be nice

tournament fishing. this guy is a legend around here.google him. , i know he hold multiple world records. swordfishing in particular, i know he does really well. i only know his son. i know OF him , but i dont know him personally. even the son is more of a "friend of a friend" anyway the motors are gonna be for sale in 10 months. he is gonna sell us one for 12,000, if we want it,(we do!) and i am getting a 12" lowrance gps, for 800$ in a few months supposedly. you should see the size of those motors!! they are massive and poweful and really really quiet too, surprisingly.

Great catches and great job. I plan on visiting the Marquesas next month, can't wait!!
