I am new to the spearfishing scene in California. I have been spearfishing for 18 years now (since the age of 11) in my home country ( Cyprus). I have my equipment here and recently added some bigger guns in order to become active again here in Cali. I am looking to find a partner, a person that knows the area well and is a descend spearo in order to learn a few things from him about the waters here. I am an athletic guy and i used to spearfish for 6-8 straight hours at depths between 15 and 50 feet.
I am going to join the Fathomiers and hopefully that will work out just fine. I heard that they are a good group to join.
I can go spearfishing any day of the year at any time since i am doing my PhD and can stay home any day i like.
Need to work on my stamina this month since i intend to start gong often.
