Hey i live in hudson valley in ny me and my gf are getting our scuba certs in april n gunna go spearfishing, best spots in ny or nj? Nj looks hard to do bc of vis, and why do i see vids from like may on youtube of people getting tog in nj i want to get some and try it but i ship for basic for army in july (cant say when or where) but want to get some tog with my gf but may or junr i heard its closed season ny and nj, if i want some good flounder which is better to find em with vis ny or nj? Locations of spots? Also if an experienced person can be our dive buddy well be happy, we have no boat just a car
