Hello!

I am a bit confused about the spearfishing regulations in NJ.
Does one need a license and what species are allowed to be speared and in what quantities.

Could somebody point me to the source of info on that subject.

Thanks in advance!

in NJ you need no licens, Black fish you can only spear 1 per person per day 14+ inch, striperbass you can have 2 per day, the first one has to be 27"+ and the second can be 23"+, triger fish have no size or quantity limit, ships had i think you can have like 4 per person and most of them are big , like 10 lb +.
