Next week the World Championship in Portugal. Any anticipations about team composition? (curious about spanish, french, english, portuguese, american and croatian).
The sensation is that some portuguese (Rui Torres most of all) or atlantic spanish (Pepe Vinha) is going to be the winner this time: they'll play in their homewaters, and had plenty of time to prepare the field.
For the Italians, who hold the title won in Chile 2004, bad news are followed by worse news: our team had only 10 days to prepare the field marks in unknown oceanic waters, and the team itself is not at the top: the only "superstars" will be Bellani (1st in 2004) and Ramacciotti (8th in 2004).
Among the top 6 italian spearos, one couldn't go cause disqualified by Cmas, another has been red carded by the national federation for ethic misbehaviour, another has serious family trouble in this times and another refused to go as a reserve/backup. :head
