Gday, I have a Cressi SL100 airgun and was chasing a reel for it. I
dont want a highend market one just something that will fit and handle 20m of line. Also i have heard alot about mambo kits and was wondering if anyone in australia does them or if someone overseas does them and how much they are(including spear). Oops forgot that also i saw that u can get a loading handle with rubber on it so i dont have to try and reach the full length of the gun.

Thx in Advance Jamie

Hiya Jamie, the Cressi farter is a good gun, as for a reel your best bet is to to your LDS and ask if they got any no brand reels ( most diveshops have a box full, sitting in the back)...you might want to look here Adrenaline Spearfishing Supplies - Dive Equipment Specialists

Mamba system is great to zup your guns power check this guy out he was one of the "mambneers" Maorisub - Fucili ad aria e Kit

here is a sample of DIY MAMBIZAR UN NEUMATICO

As for a loader get 2 pieces of PVC pipe about 4" long, in 1 pipe drill 3 holes your center hole small enough to fit your shaft point but not so big as to let the shaft slide thru, the 2 holes on the extreme sides big enough to allow a 1/4" rope through, on the second pipe 2 holes to line up with the 2 extreme end holes in first pipe. Put shaft in gun, place first pipe (3 holes) in tip and measure distance of your arm extended for a comfortable load...cut rope to the size, tie both pipes and whalah!...not my idea...someplace on the www their is a pic...fox, spago

thar you go matey...thats what we call "DB servicio"...dang Fox who's that fellow in the pix...seems he's suffering from some severe constipationrofl...how do you spell relief

constipated or not, Foxy looks splendid
Cheapo airgun reels? Both Omer and Mares have cheap models from 15 to 30 euro (the Omer Match amd Sporasub Instinct are really good for the price)

Damn u guys are fast lol

Thx heaps, i know my local store sells mares airguns so i will check them out tomorow

Watching them install the mamba kit looks easy, but i bet that oneday when i get one it wont be LOL

Also i just ordered in a new spear for mine as the one i have is burred and can ruin the seals. I got the stainless spear which i hope was the wise choice

Well i just went out for my first boat dive(still around reefs and such but about 6km out.

Good news is it was absolutely ******** amazing, i am so hooked now
Bad news is this was my 1st try with my airgun after it got serviced and it broke
I strted getting airbubbles from the top of the gun then lost all power almost not enough to even release the spear
I hope it aint to much as i cant buy anymore toys for awhile(cries)

Well i got my baby back from the shop, almost everything new now.
I bought the gun 2nd hand and not knowing the price i could get one for thought it was a bargain.
But now my 2nd hand cressi owes me $290 which i could of easily bought a mares cyrano for.
Anyways from the use ive had im very happy, we are heading out this wekend so if all goes well i may have some pics to upload
