For those who night dive and hunt (where it is legal to do so) here is some interesting stuff passed on to me by Vitaly at the "Taimen" Company.

Check out the day/night coloration transitions with this stuff, including "glow in the dark" pattern effects. Also useful for aiming sights on the gun I would think.

That's kinda cool. For sights, there's also a radiactive material that glows by "itself". It comes in small vials and I thought about using one of those but then thought they'd be too fragile and opted for the fiber optic instead.
