I recently was spearing carp in a flooded lake in about 2 feet of water. It was so shallow that i could not snorkel so I just walked around and when i saw a fish i would put the speargun underwater and shot. After about 15 carp I shot and the gun decompressed completely rapidly, the spear exited the speargun but i had no pressure. It sounded like something may have blown out of the back because I heard something hit the water. And I noticed that there was a hole in the back of the gun like the valve had blown out or something, looked and could not find whatever flew out of the back. What should I do? Please remember i am relatively new at this. Thanks for your help

You need to tell us more...
I haven't heard of a gun losing parts in the water like that, but who knows. Sounds more like an abrupt seal-disintegration. Like an o-ring gave up all of a sudden.
It would make sense to pump it back up and put it in a bathtub to try to figure out where that leak is.
