Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and have found heaps of good information on here about training and spearing. I've been freediving for a few years now, but have only just got a spear gun. Now that I have one, I'm not sure where to use it.

I was wondering if anyone on here knows where in the Perth metro area I can legally spear from the shore? So far I've gone at Woodman Point and at Blackwall reach, but I was hoping there would be some more interesting places around.

Thanks,
Kmo

Gidday Kmo Welcome aboard

Unfortunatly there are no places in the Perth metro area you can spear from shore and the fisheries will get you if you do pluss there are no fish good enough to spear.
Best places are Rotto/Stragglers or North to ledge point, lancellin etc but you will need a boat.
Best thing to do is join Blue Water Free divers we go out most weekends, we should be able to find room for you on a boat.
If you are keen send me a P/M we have a meeting this Tuesday
