Looking for a spearing partner who knows the ropes in HI. I am a dive master and trying to pick up freediving / spear fishing. Free most days, let's hunt!!

Hi S, Moved to USA region but left a temporary link from the spearo beginner area for a couple months too ;)

I recommend taking a freediving course as most people want to spearfish with some one who is safe and know how to handle Lmc's or blackouts. Also, you will meet other spearos and freedivers at your level in the course.

Thank both of you, I am rescue certified for scuba and have a lot of experience both in the water, and in the dry medical field. I'm just looking for some local wisdom and someone who wants to see the deep as much as me! Most of the guys I train with would just prefer to look and not touch, not that it's a bad thing, but I still need a hunting buddy.
