I went out four days in a lake just west of Milwaukee and went for a dive. Saw one carp and tons of curious bass and a few small panfish.

Also, I found out my 3mm wet suit with holes in it just doesn't cut it.

We dove around the Island, on the east side. Just to make sure we are talking about the same lake, pine lake in Chenequa. Do you dive it ever?

We used my friends boat, but I am trying to fix up my boat so I have more freedom. The vis was good 10-15 ft, I dont know the exact temperature.

I've run some private scuba course out there and have dove it off of friends boats in the past.

The island is nice, because it drops off so fast, and there was always lots of stuff to find.

For fish I prefered some of the weeds beds on the south end of the lake.

Other, nice, lakes in the area include Moose lake and Beaver lake.

Jon

Moose and beaver are nice, I live not 1/2 a mile away from beaver. Although I don't think Beaver holds a lot a fish. I will have to try the South end of Pine.
