Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum seen and wanted to see if anyone has any input they can give me reference the website SPEARO.co.uk? I've been having some drama's getting hold of them. Am I the only one who has had snags with them?

Hard to get hold of but when you finally do the gear, honesty and service is top

GOOOD LUCK!

Thank's for the input guy's,
I've tried calling and emailing, and had no joy. I'm going to keep trying, if anyone has any other way of getting hold of him I would apreciate it.

Beeen waiting months and months and months for last speargun. Went missing in post, due refund, decided on another gun, still no luck. Initial service was ok. Left his quite a few voicemails, emails etc but no luck.
Going to try him again.

I can vouch for apnea.co.uk. FANTASTIC service but mind the vat is added at the checkout. The use royal mail too which tbh is the best service in the UK.

Jersey like us in Guernsey is a zero rate VAT zone. Under £18 goods can be exported to the UK VAT free. We have several companies like Amazon and HMV that have warehouses here so they can sell VAT free CD's and DVD's to the UK. Then there's 7Dayshop.com that sells many products under the £18 barrier VAT free to the UK (cheapest batteries on line for instance).

Apnea, in jersey, seemed to get a way exporting to the UK VAT free even if over £18 but all that stopped last year. Now they add on the VAT, unless it is an "inter-island" sale, i.e. they send stuff from Jersey to us in Guernsey VAT free.

Apnea gets a few mentions on DB and never personally seen a bad one. Not the cheapest shop but brilliant customer service, plus knowledgeable staff and good stock with fast and efficient delivery. So they say, anyway.

Dave.

As OMD and others say, Apnea Jersey are very good and ive used them a fair bit. top score there from me :)
