Hi there,

I will be in florida from the 18th until the end of the month. I am a keen spearo, freedive only and am very keen to hook up with some spearo's in florida for some diving. Reefs or blue water.
I have been spearfishing in South Africa, Mozambique, Zanzibar and the Cape Verde islands. I spearfished in conditions ranging from perfect , to completely isane, and loved every single dive. I have not been in the water since march, but was diving 100ft with ease then.
I am from South Africa, 35 years old, and have just finished my orthopedic surgery specialization.
If you are are going spearfishing and would not mind if joined you, I would most appreciate it. I will staying with my cousin in Jupiter, but can move around easily if need be.
My email is paul.de.clercq@gmail.com. Please feel free to contact me via the forum or email.

Cheers Paul.

if you are in key west and the weather is good, you welcome to come out on my boat

not from here and I am always looking for people to dive with

maybe we can go diving sometime. i got some good #s. are you a new yorker? ,(from your online name) i used to be one. been here 5 years.i am off the weekends. i got a boat too. what kinda boat you got?

I'm from Albany NY, although I have lived all over the state

I have been in Key West for two years, and it seems like half the people I met leave, the turn over seems really high on this island

I got a 218cc Sailfish, I work for myself so I can rearrange my schedule to go whenever.

I go out a lot with my girlfriend, going with just two people is great when the conditions are really good, but as soon as there is wind/current etc its so much better to have more people, plus paying for gas for 20 mile runs solo kind of sucks

I usually hunt in less 50 feet of water, but I can dive a bit deeper then that if necessary

we went out yesterday 60 miles north to a blue hole. it was more of a green hole. then we went to cyclops and p tower, plus a shrimp boat wreck. really not that great, considering how far we went. have you been out in front of marquesas yet? or tail end ? thats nice area. maybe we can go out sometime soon. i am off on weekends.

Did you go with nate and corey? did you guys get anything interesting?

farthest I have been west in my boat is Marquesas rock

very good bottom out there, just sucks if you run out there and vis is bad, have you talked to anyone who has been out there recently?

i will definitely be going out this weekend, if the weather is decent so stay in touch

corey didnt go. nothing great,(as far as fish) vis was shitty at the hole, it was OK at the other spots. mostly just goliath groupers,(someone needs to start killing them!)

ran out past sand key yesterday, and there was less then 20 feet of vis out to 180 feet of water, then it was blue, checked the noaa bouy but there was just bait on it

should have stayed home
