Regards Everyone! I' ve just flown over from Europe a couple of weeks ago to visit some family fortunate to live in this beautiful country. Tomorrow I'm leaving from Toronto for Kelowna B.C. to get a taste of the Canadian West and impose myself on a couple of cousins ;).. I'll be there only till July 4th but thought that perhaps there might be a small chance to do a bit of freediving/spearing in the area? I've brought my wetsuit and fins just in case so should be ok equipment wise. Anyone out there willing to jump in the water with me? I'll be staying in Kelowna at (250) 860 7295. Andre Chodan.

Thanks for responding!..Too bad I was there only a few days! Really wish I could've stayed longer. I did some freediving there alone in the Okanagan and Kamalayka(?) lakes...Nice water, good vis and quite a bit of...carp! Wish I had a speargun to get a couple for the grill (we eat'em in Europe - can be delicious) ! I managed to jump on the Greyhound and visit a friend in Vancouver for a day, where I was also able to dive in the Pacific thanks to the great people form the Vancouver Apneist Club. . Back in Ontario I was also able to go out once with guys from Freedive Toronto and dive Lake Simcoe. I was greatly impressed by the natural beauty and friendly people of the West (and East) and would love to go there again soon. Maybe next time around we can somehow get together.

Hi friends.
I'm going to Canada in 2010 to work and live with my family.
I'm practicing in my parents SPEARFISHING Brazil.
I wonder about the SPEARFISHING in the region of Kelowna and Toronto?
I wonder if these rigião Kelowna and Toronto and allowed the sport SPEARFISHING?
In the region of Kelowna and Toronto which are the best to practice SPEARFISHING Lagos?
I would like to receive responses by e-mail unless it is very uncomfortable for you.
