Anyone remotely close to the bay of islands in new zealand keen for a dive I've got a tinny and wanna kill some fish, just need some dive buddies. Crayfish scallops spearing whatever!

You have no clue how much I wish I was your way right now. Spent some time there 2 februarys ago. Planning on doing some traveling for 2-3 months up there come February of this next year. If your still around lets go dive!

Have a look on The Fishing Website - Fish New Zealand Snapper Kingfish Marlin Trout Softbait in the 'spearo's corner' section of the forum. There are plenty of guys up that way who'd be keen on a dive. There's also a spearfishing comp at the Hen & Chicks at the end of November if you're into that sort of thing. Would be a good place to catch up with other spearos.
