I think I am going to buy a new set of fins. My quest for a set of functional and durable travel fins led me to these by specialfins: SpecialFins Monofins & fins for Freediving,Spearfishing,UW Games

The blade (out of the pocket) is just under 24" which will fit (disassembled) into an airline carry on bag. They use Omer footpockets with the side rails removed. I've traded e-mails with Ard at specialfins and am just waiting for things to finalize.

Has anyone got any experience with these? Ard says these are a very new fin for them and they have not gotten a ton of feedback. What he has gotten back has been all positive.
