SpecialFins Soft Stereofins?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you had experience with SpecialFins Soft Kelpie blades (they make them in soft now). How does the soft compare to the medium? Is the soft too soft? Thanks for any help provided!

There are a lot of freedivers taht use fins that are toos tiff for them. I have had several divers use my SpecialFins in medium in the pool. All liked stiffer blades, but went faster and with less effort with the medium blades and Dessault footpockets.
In Alaska I use Imersion E-carbons (easy to get on when its cold and they don't change stiffness in water just above freezing. They feel really soft, but I have had no problem getting to -40 m and back with them.
Net result for me is that medium to soft fins work better, despite what most divers think
