I need to wear specs to get me safely over the rocks and into the water. Once in the water and wearing a mask, my vision is perfect as the refractive index of the water restorses the quality of my sight. I'm not keen on contact lenses.

My problem is what to do with my specs when I'm in the water. A slim, crushproof and rounded case may slip inside my wetsuit. A normal spec case does not seem robust enough and would have a very limited life immersed in saltwater. Has anyone found a solution? Thanks.

Put 'em in a case and stick 'em on your float?, or a get a small mesh bag and attach it to your weightbelt?
