Hello everyone,
I guess you been confused by the name of the thread. Well so am I and i need some help from experts... Can somebody clarify that confusion? Plenty of great reviews of mask you simply referring as “Sphera”
but which one u talking about?
This one:
1. Aquasphere Sphera. Masks Masks, Scubastore.com, buy, offers, dive
or
this one:
2. FLOW Low volume mask for Spearfishing Freediving - Clear or BLACK - UK Dive, swimming, snorkelling

as you can see on the top of the page it’s called: “Flow” low volume mask, but then it’s described as “Sphera” And this is the cause of confussion...
And let’s call number 2 “Flow”, anyone used it? Any comments?
Thnx a lot

Hi Morbid,

Welcome to the DB forums!

The Sphera mask is most definitely the Aquasphere one (that's the brand name). I'm not sure what the other one is in the second link, but for 20 quid it might be worth a look too, though I suspect the middle of the lense might be a weak point.

Cheers,
Ben

Hey if you search the forums trux wrote about it some time ago, maybe search for ' sphera-like '
By the way I bought staff from mike's diving before and got delivered fine (just in case you are worried)

The Flow mask is fantastically compressible and needs almost no eq, but: it is known as the 'vodka mask' by those who have used it, as it tends to mess your vision up in ways not unlike excess vodka. So recommended for fun, not recommended if you want to do things like accurately judge distance to line/tag/buddy/shark.

Thnx a lot guys!
I did check posts by Trux on that Flow mask (nr.2), and decided to give it a try.
will see how it goes.... Now in search for a snorkel :)

i use the aquasphere sphera and it is very comfortable ...

the other one i sow it in Spetton's web :
:: Spetton ::

i want to try it... i think both of them are great

Just one note regarding Sphera " You have to be gentle with this mask" as the lens can come out easily because the frame is flexible.

As Simos mentioned some people they do not like to use snorkel while preparation for dive, but some they do.(For me i do not use snorkel for breath up when i practice freedivving but i use it when i do spearfishing)

For snorkel get any J type simple snorkel and wrap it with something to make it float. no need to keep it attached to your mask even and once you will dive it will float and your buddy will grab it.

All best
