I just listed a pair of classic, lightly used Sporasub H. Dessault foot pockets (size 7-9; European 40-42) in excellent shape on ebay ([ame=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120684237950]Sporasub H. Dessault full foot fins size 7-9 - eBay (item 120684237950 end time Feb-17-11 13:55:07 PST)[/ame]).
I bought these in 1998 from AB Biller and used them with a pair of black Sporasub blades for three years. In the same auction is a new pair of Sporasub green blades (which are a medium stiffness and more flexible than the black ones) that I also bought in 1998 but never used. I am including the fin weights (500 gms or 22 oz each) for the blades and extra weight cartridges to put on a belt.
The blades are 22 in (56 cm) long, measured from the top of the footpocket. My shoes size is 8.5-9 and I used a 2 or 3 mil shooter bootee with these foot pockets and never had a foot rub problem. I quit freediving a number of years ago because of an ear problem and put the fins in a closet and forgot about them until I moved late last year.
The total weight of all items plus box will be 10 lbs so I will be mailing will be by USPS Parcel post to keep shipping charges down.
Cheers and I do miss that deep blue water.
