Wait a minute: changes don't have to be done necessarily. The voice was spread after an article on an american magazine (the Hawaii skin diver), but that was just a subjective opinion of some people. Many other people think that the gun is just good as it comes from the factory. So what?
My suggestion for you is: shoot some shots with your gun, so to make your own subjective opinion, with no prejudice. If you don't trust a gun, if you feel unsecure about it, no gun will never shoot straight.
Briefly, the modifications were a more "american" type of set-up: 2 circular bands, full length rail, hawaian shaft, dyneema wishbone. Those guys felt more comfortabel with a gun kitted this way, and took better shots. But guess what? They're hawaian americans and so we may think it's quite normal that they felt a better "feeling" with a gun kitted the american way...

Well i got it today. Is the open mussell supossed to be easier to load? hehe.
It havnt seen water yet/ cant wait.

The gun looks just fine, i need to work on my loading skills its killing my stomach even thouth i have a spearfishing suit. The mussell can get very complex somethimes specially with the gloves because you have to pass it trough very small places... i shot only twice.. and i missed one. ill get it wet this weekend too for a longer spearfishing day to be able to have more shots
