At one time Mares owned the Sporasub name and used it to offer a Mares "Spark" with different name stickers as the Sporasub "Stealth". This gun was basically the original "Cyrano", but with a "Sten" nose cone replacing the long plastic snout so that the gun had a longer tank tube than the "Cyrano". What I recently discovered was that they also offered a Sporasub "Rafal" which is a rebadged "Jet" which itself is a reworking of the Competition Line/Sten 87 speargun.

You can see one here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fucile-...a=1&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

This gun follows the 1989 revision of the Competition Line gun in that the front line wrap hook has a clamp to hold a spear under the gun with the spear tail poked into the hole in the front of the trigger finger guard.

A 70 cm speargun is a Mares "Medisten" equivalent, or in the USA a "Frontiersman".
