Sporasub Revolution fins?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Yes, I wasn't impressed. I really like the idea, and the footpockets were very comfortable , but the blades were seriously lacking. The angle was too great and they slid around too much. Maybe if they did a re-design with a straighter blade and side rails it might work out better- and I'm someone who normally likes a lot of angle to my blades.

I do love my C4 Mustangs. The footpockets are much more comfortable than anything else I've used.

I didn't know that OMER had a new foot pocket. I've used the Radicals, which are basically a biking shoe with a fin blade attached, and I own the Mustangs. Since I bought the Mustangs I've lost interest in trying/buying new fins. These are the most comfortable footpockets I've ever owned- and I've owned more than a few.

I have herd from many people who tried them that they're grate...BUT.... That they are not worth the money unless you have leg/ ankle trouble or are swimming for days on end

Can you give more details, why the mares over the omer, what is good about the mares, what is bad about the omers ?

Sporasub Revolution couldn't be a decent fin since it's not any kind of "revolution", but cheap "evolution" of an idea for carbon fiber blades of "Trygons" - an innovative Greek company. This shape and design of the blade is not good for thermoplastic material and normally can not give the expected performance.
In 2008 the guys from Trygons showed the prototype of the blades in Medfish.com and announced something like competition for good idea for foot pockets. Many ideas were given and some of them based on existing sport shoes. All the community was shocked when Sporasub (Omer) launched the "Revolution" next year...

This is probably going to be hard to explain without pictures, I didn't say anything was bad about the Omer's but for my feet (wide). I think the Mares are better suited and the tendons seem like they are part of the footpocket whereas the Omer's seem like they were attached after the foot mold was made. That is just my opinion I have used both and wold prefer the Mares but if you have narrow feet the Omer's might do the trick but the Mares are definitely worth looking into. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I humbly disagree with Gugi's comment and with all the disappointment from medfish users' about this issue. These Sporasub fins are basically a pair of cycling shoes with fin blades attached. And so, with the greatest respect for Trygons' splendid products and for Medfish's brilliant design contest, my questions are:
-Did Trygons invent cycling shoes? No.
-Did Trygons invent detachable fin carbon blades? No.
-Did Trygons start the first project ever to attach finblades to anatomic left/right shoe-type footpockets? No.
-Did Trygons land the first project ever to attach finblades to anatomic left/right shoe-type footpockets? No.

Am I missing something? I have no prejudicial position, and please feel free to explain where I'm wrong.
