Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a Sporasub Baltic Camu 7+7, however I've had a few issues with fit of wetsuits recently. I'm having to buy online so can't try it first.

Size wise i'm the a the top of the medium fit and bottom of large.

Is it better to buy on the smaller size?

cheers
Dan

Hi TheMarf,

My partner is exactly like that for most wetsuit brands. The women's medium is a little too small and pulls at the shoulder, etc., while the large is loose.

The only exception we came across was the Henderson Insta-Dry suit that fit smaller than their other models, and a large worked for her. Henderson doesn't make that suit any more.

We've decided the only way to go is with custom-fit suits, we'll probably go with Elios this time. The extra cost will probably worth it to not have to spend hours trying on one suit model after the other, finding that nothing fits right.

I'm with Foxfish re the diveskin suits - great value and my custom arrived pretty quickly. I've never had an expensive suit so don't have anything to compare it to but it keeps me warm 7 months of the year in Scotland.
