Yesterday i went for a relaxed dive to 5o m. The water is getting rather chilling in Oslo now and I was wearing a 3mm. After the dive it sounded like I had a sparkling can of coke or something in my throat/chest when exhaling with some effort.

I did not feel fatigued, pain or any other of the typical symptoms of squeeze.

How severe is this condition?

Sounds more like a very big blood shift to me. If there is no bleeding, no other symptoms and things returned to normal, it looks like your body responded exactly as you asked it to. IMHO

Thanks Bill.

That was the answer I wanted. However I could hear the sound 5 hours after the dive.

I went diving yesterday and today i have some blood in my spit (mucus).

Still no pain but I guess it is best to take it easy?

I think it all comes down to you being old and out of shape. And no beer for a month:friday

Well mr B-J or should I say B-Job.

What happend to you yesterday? I heard you lost your mouthfill even before you went in the water.:t

B-Jobs aren`t as bad as people say. Yesterday I left the water early. I said I was cold, but I just forgot my towel. And I hate to put my boxer back on when I`m wet. Didn`t you notice?
BTW Have you measured up for the TRITON-fin?
