st. joseph Peninsula, Florida diving

Has anyone done any diving around St. Joseph Peninsula or Cape San Blas are of Florida? IT's pretty much the same place!

I'm going down for my vacation have some Arti Reefs picked to dive on. I got most of my Intel from one of parents neighbors who's own a beach house ther for about 25 years and has fished all over the area and told me some great places to go! I'm using a Rigged up surfboard I've been testing and moding for about a month now! It's pretty much going to be Airborne mission to get to most of the location, only like 1.5 to 2.0 miles. It's worked pretty well during my tests it all the Poo I need load on the board.
I just know if any fishermen come by I'm going to get some weird a$$ looks from them. I just hope I don't fly by from one the coast chops from station near by. I might get fellow freediver jumping with me with Cool A$$ ride !!!

He any intell on possible viz during the summer or what not would be cool. Hey if anyone wants to join me that would be cool. We could rent a boat and split the cost! I'm planning on being there for a week starting Sept 18th.

Mapquest says it's 271 miles or so away from me in Jax,Fl.
And it takes 5 hours and like thirty minutes or so. I really doubt it takes that long because I drive to pensacola from here in the same amount of time so send me some info on it Asap.

Any road trip info .I'm looking for my Fl road atlas it has more details than mapquest maps. I assume you've driven there before so how many miles is it from you in Georgia? And what kind of water acess is there. I seen you post some ideas for some other trips but no one replied so I thought I could make it
for a day or so .
