Hi all

I'm interested to know if these are suitable for wooden spearguns i.e. will they damage the wood?

Cheers
John

I used something similar for 20 years. I don't think that anything but the rubber touches the wood in use, but I never used enclosed tracks.

I have used similar inserts, and found that the wishbones needed replacing more often as a result of the cord running across sharp(ish) metal fittings.
I started using dyneema wishbones attached to plastic beads, and these last longer than the rubbers they are attached to.

I will be interested to find out what you think of them but why would you want to use wire in the first place?
