Hello everybody,

My name is Thomas, living in Belgium/Italy I'm 21 years old, and I want to beat the world record freediving :p hehe

Wel yeah, I mean you need a goal in your live or not ? So what I want to ask you guys, if you could give me some advise on how to start my training. For 15 years I participated at swimming competitions and I won some european titels, but the last 3 years I didn't do any sport any more (studies) So, can you guys give me some advise, websites, books, technices on how to start freediving??

My passion started when I was 10 years, when I joined my father with spearfishing, I dived the first time at 25m (the length of the rope that was attached to the balloon) and it was a whole different place, so now 11 years later I want to start aggain with this, but now for real, I already went to doctor an my lung capacity is 10.6 liters, pretty impressive tol the docter me. So now I need some advise from you guys, thx in advance

Regards,

Thomas

Thomas,
first, contact a freediving federation : belgium : www.aidabelgique.be, Italy : ... ?. Find a good a buddy you can trust in and start training at your own rythm.

In belgium, you can train either in BXL, Liège, Charleroi, Arlon, Anvers, ... (not so bad for such a small country!!). If BXL interests you, contact me.
