hi folks as above really i have spent too much time with a rod now going in after them! have just orderd gabbalino 77 from spearo and will be spending 2 weeks in and around weymouth in september hoping to adjust the fish population.
thanks to everyone for the forum a huge souce of knowledge.
you can now all tell me i have the wrong gun!!!!:)
 
Welcome from Texas! The only wrong gun is a dry gun or loaded gun in the boat/out of water.
 
Gabbi 77? Sounds like the perfect tool for the job ;).

My Dad lives in Wilts, Melksham and is a keen spearo too his handle on here is Fishfox PM him and I'll let him know to keep an eye out for your PM.

In regards to the Gabby I own one and it is an amazing gun, I have now speared contless amounts of fish with it.
